These Public Services Terms ("Terms") govern Your access to and use of the Public Services provided by Scribble Data Private Limited, doing business as Carver Agents ("Carver", "Scribble Data", "We", "Us", "Our"). "You" and "Your" refer to the person or organization using the Public Services.
THE PUBLIC SERVICES ARE NOT LEGAL ADVICE. They are a best-effort, automated service with limitations of coverage, timing, interpretation and accuracy. Please read Sections 4, 5, 13 and 14 carefully.
1.1 Public Services: "Public Services" means Carver ELI and every website, Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and other programmatic interface, tool, export, report and other output We make available through it. This includes the websites ismyagentlegal.com, agentobligations.com, agentlegalcheck.com, checkagentliability.com, agentlegalrisk.com, ismyagentinsurable.com, underwritemyagent.com, findagentinsurance.com, agentinsurancefinder.com, agentlegalcontext.com, agentlegalapi.com, agentcomplianceapi.com and eli.carveragents.ai, together with any other site or service that links to these Terms.
1.2 Other Agreements: If You use a Public Service under a signed agreement between Your organization and Us, that agreement and the Carver Agents Terms and Conditions at https://www.carveragents.ai/terms-and-conditions also apply. Where they conflict with these Terms about the Public Services, the provision that gives You fewer rights against Us and gives Us more protection applies, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2.1 Acceptance: By accessing or using a Public Service, You agree to these Terms. This applies whether You use it Yourself or through software, a script or an AI agent. If You do not agree, do not use the Public Services.
2.2 Organizations: If You use a Public Service on behalf of an organization, You confirm that You are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "You" includes that organization.
2.3 AI Agents and Software: If You run, deploy or instruct an AI agent or other software that uses a Public Service, You are responsible for its use as if it were Your own, and You accept these Terms for it.
2.4 Credentials: All activity carried out using Your assessment keys, access keys or tokens, including by any AI agent or software You authorize, is deemed to be carried out by You. If You believe they have been lost, stolen or compromised, notify Us promptly at legal@carveragents.ai and stop the affected access.
3.1 Eligibility: The Public Services are intended for business and professional use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater. They are not intended for personal, family or household use.
3.2 Access: We may refuse, limit, suspend or end access for anyone, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice.
3.3 Export Control and Sanctions: You represent that neither You nor Your organization is named on, or owned or controlled by a person named on, any applicable sanctions or denied-party list. You will not access or use the Public Services from, or make them available to any person in, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargo, or otherwise in breach of the export control and sanctions laws of India, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or any other applicable jurisdiction.
4.1 Not Legal Advice: This is not legal advice. The Public Services are a best-effort, automated service. They have limitations of coverage, timing, interpretation and accuracy. We are working to improve them. Under no circumstances should You treat anything from the Public Services as legal advice, or assume that it is legal advice.
4.2 No Lawyer-Client Relationship: Using the Public Services does not create a lawyer-client relationship, or any other professional or fiduciary relationship, between You and Us or anyone connected with Us. We are not a law firm and do not practise law.
4.3 Regulatory Obligations Only: The Public Services cover some regulatory obligations only. They do not cover all of Your legal obligations. For example, they do not cover contracts, intellectual property, employment arrangements, litigation or tax. We are not a legal service provider, tax adviser or regulatory consultant, and nothing in any communication from Us, including support, documentation and marketing material, is legal, tax, accounting, regulatory or compliance advice, whatever its form or context. You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your activities, products and AI agents comply with all applicable laws.
4.4 Get Advice: Before You act, or decide not to act, on anything from the Public Services, You should get advice from a qualified lawyer in each relevant jurisdiction.
5.1 Automated and Best Effort: Results are generated by automated systems, including artificial intelligence. Those systems can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent, and the same input can produce different results at different times.
5.2 Coverage: The Public Services do not cover every jurisdiction, law, regulation, guidance document, decision or obligation. They may miss laws or obligations that apply to You.
5.3 Timing: Laws change. Results may not reflect recent changes, pending changes, or changes that apply retrospectively. They are not updated automatically after You receive them.
5.4 Interpretation: Whether an obligation applies depends on facts and on interpretation. Our interpretation may differ from that of a regulator, court, lawyer or other party.
5.5 Accuracy: Results may contain errors, including in citations, summaries, labels, counts, risk or exposure views, and time or effort estimates.
5.6 Labels: Labels such as "applies", "undetermined" and "ruled out", and any score, count, exposure view, insurability read or coverage view, are best-effort indications. They are not findings, determinations or certifications. An obligation marked "ruled out" may still apply to You. An obligation marked "undetermined" may apply to You.
5.7 Your Input: Results depend on what You tell Us. We do not verify it. Incomplete or inaccurate input will produce incomplete or inaccurate results.
5.8 No Certification: Nothing from the Public Services is a certification, audit, attestation, opinion or confirmation that You, Your product or Your AI agent comply with any law. Compliance, and evidence of compliance, remain Your responsibility.
5.9 AI-Generated Outputs and Third-Party Agents: Results may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies or fabricated content (sometimes called hallucinations). They must not be the sole basis for any legal, compliance, financial, insurance or other material decision. You are responsible for verifying any result, and for having it reviewed by a qualified professional, before relying on it or presenting it to any third party, including customers, regulators, insurers, investors or boards. Where You present results to a third party, You must disclose that they were generated with the help of artificial intelligence. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how any third-party AI agent, assistant or application retrieves, interprets, modifies, summarizes or presents results from Our MCP servers.
5.10 Official Sources: The Public Services draw on laws, regulations, guidance and other materials published by governments, regulators and other third parties, and on translations and summaries of them. We do not control those sources and do not warrant that they, or Our reproduction, translation or summary of them, are accurate, complete or current. Where there is any difference, the official text published by the relevant authority prevails.
6.1 Not an Insurer: We are not an insurer, insurance broker, insurance agent or intermediary, and We do not give insurance advice.
6.2 No Offer of Cover: Insurability reads, underwriting evidence packs, coverage views and similar outputs are best-effort descriptions. They are not an offer, quote, recommendation or binding of insurance cover. They do not indicate whether any insurer will offer You cover, or on what terms or at what price.
6.3 Quote Requests: If You ask Us to pass on a quote request, We may share the information You provide with third-party insurance providers or intermediaries. Any quote, advice or policy comes from them, on their own terms. Whether to offer cover is entirely their decision.
7.1 Independent Third Parties: If You ask for an introduction to a lawyer, insurer, broker or other third party, that third party is independent of Us. We do not endorse, recommend, supervise or guarantee them or their services, and We are not responsible for their advice, products, fees, availability or conduct.
7.2 Your Dealings: Your dealings with any third party are solely between You and them.
7.3 Third-Party Applications and AI Assistants: If You use the Public Services through a third-party application, AI assistant or agent framework, You are responsible for Your account with that provider, for any fees it charges, and for complying with its terms and acceptable use policies. We make no representation about any third-party application, cannot guarantee that it will remain available or compatible, and are not responsible for its functionality or results.
8.1 Targets Only: Any response time, turnaround time, processing time, or time or effort estimate We mention, including "we aim to reply within 48 hours" or "usually a few minutes", is a target or estimate only. It is not a commitment.
8.2 No Service Level: We provide the Public Services without any service level. They may be unavailable, slow, interrupted or changed at any time, including during maintenance or upgrades.
8.3 Changes to the Public Services: We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any Public Service or feature at any time without notice or liability. This includes free access, usage limits, rate limits, pricing, supported jurisdictions and acts, output formats, MCP interfaces and tools. Your use of the Public Services is not contingent on the delivery of any future functionality, or on any public comments We make about it.
8.4 Keys and Results: Assessment keys, access keys, results, reports and exports may expire or be deleted. Keep Your own copy of anything You need.
8.5 Fees: A Public Service that is free today may become paid, and We may introduce fees for any feature. Any fees will be shown before You incur them.
9.1 Restrictions: You must not:
(a) use the Public Services in breach of any law, or to evade, conceal or work around a legal or regulatory obligation;
(b) submit content You do not have the right to submit, or Personal Data beyond what is needed to describe Your product or AI agent;
(c) submit malicious code, or try to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the Public Services or related systems;
(d) get around any usage limit, rate limit, authentication or access control;
(e) submit requests at a volume or in a way that exceeds published limits, or that We reasonably consider abusive;
(f) resell, sublicense or offer the Public Services to others as a service, or use them to build a competing product or dataset, without Our written permission;
(g) use any output to train, fine-tune or distill any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, without Our prior written consent;
(h) use the Public Services to monitor their availability, performance or functionality, or for any benchmarking or competitive purpose; or
(i) present any output as legal advice, a legal opinion, a certification of compliance, or a statement made or endorsed by Us.
9.2 Crawling: Crawling and indexing the publicly available pages of the Public Services in line with their robots.txt files is permitted.
10.1 Your Content: You keep Your rights in the descriptions, documents and answers You submit ("Your Content"). You grant Us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and analyze Your Content to provide, secure and support the Public Services, and to pass it to third parties You ask Us to introduce You to.
10.2 Improving the Public Services: We may use Your Content, and the results generated from it, in de-identified or aggregated form where practicable, to maintain and improve the Public Services.
10.3 Privacy: We handle Personal Data as described in Our Privacy Policy (https://www.carveragents.ai/privacy-policy) and Data Policy (https://www.carveragents.ai/data-policy). Your privacy rights are described at https://www.carveragents.ai/privacy-rights.
10.4 Confidential Information: Do not submit confidential information You are not prepared to share with Us, or sensitive Personal Data.
10.5 Retention: An assessment that is not claimed by verifying an email address is deleted after 30 days. Attached documents are read once to extract their text and are not kept. The Privacy Policy describes how long We keep other information.
11.1 Use of Outputs: Subject to these Terms, You may use the outputs of the Public Services for Your own business purposes and share them with Your advisers, colleagues, customers and insurers.
11.2 Keep the Notices: When You share an output, You must not remove or obscure the not-legal-advice statement or other notices, and You must not present the output as legal advice or as Our certification or endorsement. You should state that the output is based in part on Carver and was generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
11.3 Trust Pages: If You publish a trust page or similar statement through the Public Services, its content is Your organization's own statement. We do not verify, certify or endorse it.
We and Our licensors own all rights in the Public Services, including software, data, content, models, designs and trademarks, other than Your Content. This includes the obligation mappings, ontologies, knowledge graphs and methodologies embedded in or underlying any output. Except for the limited right to use the Public Services under these Terms, no rights are granted to You. If You give Us feedback, We may use it without restriction or payment.
13.1 As Is: THE PUBLIC SERVICES AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, REPRESENTATIONS OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE.

13.3 No Guarantee: WE GIVE NO GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND, FOR ANY REASON, ABOUT THE PUBLIC SERVICES OR ANY OUTPUT. THIS INCLUDES ANY GUARANTEE THAT ANY LAW OR OBLIGATION DOES OR DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU, THAT YOU OR YOUR AGENT COMPLY WITH ANY LAW, THAT ANY RISK, EXPOSURE OR PENALTY IS AS DESCRIBED, THAT INSURANCE IS OR WILL BE AVAILABLE, OR THAT ANY RESULT WILL BE PRODUCED OR DELIVERED BY ANY TIME.
13.4 No Other Statements: No statement on any website, page, email, MCP response, marketing material or conversation creates a warranty or guarantee.

THIS INCLUDES ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM ERRORS, OMISSIONS, INACCURACIES OR HALLUCINATIONS IN ANY OUTPUT.
14.2 Cap: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PUBLIC SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, AND (B) USD 100.
